Well-known radio disc jockey, Curtis “Casual” Armstrong was early Monday morning shot and injured at the Providence Cricket Stadium located on the East Bank of Demerara in Guyana, sources confirmed.

The incident occurred shortly before 4 AM.

Sources said he was injured to his abdomen, left side and left arm after several rounds were discharged. He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) where he remained a patient.

Investigators found a number of .380 spent shells at the scene.

Police were told that the incident stemmed from an argument over ice at the VIP Lounge. When Casual exited and was near his car, the argument erupted again and one or two persons opened fire at him.

Another man, who was in Casual's car, was shot to his thigh.
