Digicel says thank you with prepaid local calls & free post paid smartphones

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI –As a thank you, Digicel BVI is once again shouting its prepaid customers with free Digicel-to-Digicel calls all weekend long. Free Digi-to Digi local calling will be available from 5pm on Friday, March 14 until midnight on Sunday, March 16. All prepaid customers will be able to make as many calls as they like, to any local Digicel number.

“At 5pm today we’re switching off local calling charges for all of our prepaid customers. Customers are not required to do anything at all other than pick up their phone and dial. The weekend is about relaxation and reconnecting with friends and family, and this weekend we’ve got you covered, the calls are on us,” commented Digicel BVI CEO, Declan Cassidy.

Digicel also announced a variety of exclusive savings for its postpaid customers. Postpaid customers can choose from a selection of 4G smartphones completely free with any new or upgraded smart plan activation. “We’ve not forgotten our postpaid customers. We have a selection of our top 4G smart phones available for new and existing customers who would like to upgrade their current plan,” said Cassidy.

Postpaid customers can choose from a Digicel Android DL700, Blackberry Z10 or Samsung Galaxy 6310 completely free throughout March. The handsets are available free of charge when paired with any Digicel smart plan starting from as low as $49 per month.

Digicel runs regular offers and all customers are advised to keep their phones switched on or like and monitor the Digicel BVI Facebook fan page for updates.

Cassidy concluded, “We want all of our customers to know how much we appreciate their continued and on-going support to us – we really do value every one of them.
