ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Delta Petroleum (Caribbean) Limited has been saddened by the tragic death of Akeem Moses, who was the son of one of its long serving employees.

Moses aka 'Ocho' died when his car collided head-on with another vehicle on the westbound carriageway of James Walter Francis Drive around midnight December 4, 2012.

Delta has since issued a letter of sympathy, which we have posted below.

On behalf of the Directors, Management and Staff of Delta Petroleum, we send our deepest sympathy and condolences to Mr. Leroy Moses and his family following the sudden and tragic loss of his son, Akeem Moses.  No words can describe this significant loss to their family and the community. His life was a blessing to all who had the privilege to know him.

Being the longest serving employee of the company, we know how committed Mr. Moses has been as a father to all of his children.  We offer our deepest sympathy and open our arms during this painful period to him and his family.  We don’t understand why things of this nature happen, but we have comfort in the knowledge that God knows all and will console them during this time of grief and pain.

The Moses’ family will remain in our thoughts and prayers and may the peace of God rest upon them.

God Bless,

Bevis Sylvester

Regional General Manager

Uncle Mulley, I was shocked to hear of the sad demise of your loving son. He was always respectful to me since he was a young-lad going to school. Just the other day we spoke and he encouraged me in the sad passing of my boss. His thoughfulness and youthful exuberance will certainly be mist.
My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. We truely don’t know what you and your family are enduring now with this tragic loss, but God knows best. As a result, II pray to the Almighty Lord to give you and your family courage, strength and support in this challenging and testing time.

I work with him for about a year and he is just a true person to himself and others.I saw him last Saturday Night picking up juice at RoadTown Wholesale and we share a joke and he said to me, you are just the same person you haven't change a bit. We laugh and each went our way, not knowing it would have been the last time we see each other. To the family God will strengthen you in such a time like this.
