DDM warns of unstable weather conditions across VI
This, according to a public statement issued today, August 5, 2018, which explained that the unstable weather conditions are due to instability, “caused by a mid-level trough interacting with an upper level low and a tropical wave (which) will persist across the forecast area today.”
Waves Moderate
The weather conditions across the VI is forecasted to be, “partly cloudy to cloudy with a 60 per cent or moderate chance of showers and possible isolated thunderstorms.”
This evening’s weather is forecast by DDM as, “fair to partly cloudy with a 30 per cent or low chance of showers.”
Winds are projected at East North East, at 19 to 33 km/h or 10 to18 knots.
The DDM, in its warning, noted that the seas are expected to be “Slight to Moderate with wave heights not exceeding 1.5 metres or 5 feet.”
