COVID-19: NDP blasted for 'chatter' on Fahie Gov't performance
"Recently there are some persons, former politicians and people all through the news giving advice to the Government, raising their views and we live in a democratic society and cleary, certainly, you have a right to do that, but I find it quite curious," Skelton-Cline said on the Thursday, May 7, 2020 edition of his radio show.
Take the backseat - Skelton-Cline to NDP
According to the man of the cloth, former politicians and Ministers are now seeing the need to be doing 'chatter' about what the government is and is not doing.
He noted, that one of the reasons he is now paying attention to the conversations, is because NDP has been in government for the past 12 of the last 16 years in the Virgin Islands, and should, therefore, take a backseat.
"When I see that some of this chatter coming out from them saying certain things in regards to the government, I just think that is it a time for you to stand back a little bit from that."
Skelton-Cline also urged former politicians to let the government do its job, or call the Premier, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) privately with any ideas 'on the side and offer your advice.'
Let Ministers do their job - Skelton-Cline
Zeroing in on the Seventh District currently being represented by Dr The Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7), he said persons are now 'snooping around' regarding Hon Wheatly's performance.
"The only thing I would say is this, I don't know how is it that you expect for the good gentlemen... to do in a year and couple months what was not [done] in 20 years, I find that quite interesting," he said.

Maybe you should first try to find out the difference between illegible and eligible before taking on such tasks as changing the constitution.
Just saying.
Seem like Mr. Cline believes they should get a free pass.
Does he decide who should speak, and when we should speak.
For that reason mainly, while they may be good with words, I cannot listen to them or respect them when they wear the other hat, because the two personalities do not blend together well.
