ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A concrete truck belonging to Tortola Concrete Limited toppled over Johnny Hill, Cane Garden Bay (CGB) this morning, Saturday February 18, 2012, and has resulted in the driver sustaining injuries but in a stable condition.

According to information reaching Virgin Islands News Online, the driver was reversing on the hill around 9 a.m. when the mishap occurred. In doing so, it landed in the yard of Denzil Cline’s apartment building.

This news site understands the driver only sustained a dislocated shoulder but in stable condition and is still a patient at the Peeble's Hospital.

An ambulance and the fire truck were summoned to the scene this morning.

An excavator is currently at the scene to remove parts of the truck that had to be cut for removal from the yard of Cline’s apartment building.

The truck was also filled with concrete at the time when it rolled over and was paving a road on the hill at the time of the incident.

As more information becomes available readers will be updated.

    Valentine, Tortola Concrete needs Drivers like you but unfortunately they just can't seem to find drivers with your skills my boy! Wish you were back on the road; it was amazing to see where Tortola Concrete used to send you in those trucks!
