Claude O. Skelton-Cline to host new TV talk show
The Television programme which will be launched tonight, Tuesday June 27, 2017 at 8:00 PM on CBN channel 51 and simulcast on CBN Radio Station 90.9 FM with host Skelton-Cline is titled 'Honestly Speaking'.
His first guest for the live show will be the veteran politician Hon Julian Fraser RA, the Representative for the Third District.
The programme will also be carried live on the show's Facebook page Honestly Speaking.
Speaking to our newsroom in an invited comment, Mr Skelton-Cline said "the show is designed to begin a meaningful and substantive territorial conversation and critique of socio-economic, political and ecclesiastical affairs."
Mr Skelton-Cline, a former National Democratic Party (NDP) candidate for District Two in the 2011 general elections and who has publicly expressed his displeasure with the performance of the current Administration, said "it is my prayerful hope that as a result of the programme a grand vision for the Territory could be crafted by the chorus of voices."
Hon Fraser is first guest
When asked why Hon Fraser was chosen as his first guest, the outspoken Pastor said "Hon Fraser is a leader in the Virgin Islands and an extremely bright man who still has much to contribute to the advancement of the Territory..."
The first show will not be a 'call in' programme as it is the inaugural airing; however, Mr Skelton-Cline promised future shows will accommodate live call in.
The show will be aired every Tuesday and is expected to attract a variety of guests. Mr Skelton-Cline has been very critical of the Government under the leadership of Premier and Minster of Finance Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith (AL).
The fiery preacher has agreed with NDP Spokeswoman Mrs Eileene L. Parsons OBE, and Bishop John I. Cine, a former BVI Health Services Authority Chairman, that that the portfolio of Finance should be taken away from Premier Smith and given to Hon Ronnie W. Skelton (AL) who is the Minister for Health and Social Development.

The problem with that is the world is multi-cultural and multi-religious. It will be hard not to judge
another because it may be counter to personal beliefs. Prior to his being let go as PA chair,
he helped facilitate some of the problems. Can he speak to that honestly? I think he has
a good platform and opportunity, I wish him luck, but hold my breath.
They can get my feed back now.. You all need a Premier type leader...Not seeing any as yet...
Clude big ups on your new show
Anyway I expect plenty mele and mudslinging Claude!
