ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – CIBC FirstCaribbean customers in the BVI and throughout the Caribbean region were given a St Valentine’s Day treat when they visited the bank’s branches on February 14. Along with chocolates and refreshments, credit card customers received double points for their purchases while 500 bonus reward points were awarded to the first customers who received an approved credit card that day in Virgin Gorda and Tortola.

In an initiative that changed the daily interactive routine, managers of the bank greeted and served customers coming in to the banking hall throughout the day.

“As a community bank we are mindful of listening to and connecting with our customers,” said Mr Peter Edmunds, country manager for CIBC FirstCaribbean, BVI. “ Over the last couple of months, we have been out in the field meeting with our clients and St Valentine’s Day was a perfect occasion to extend our outreach and interact with our customers in our branches. We took the opportunity to let them know that we’re here to work with them to find the right solutions that will help them achieve what matters to them in life.”

CIBC FirstCaribbean offers a suite of Retail, Corporate and Investment, Wealth Management, Small Business, and Credit Card banking products and services in the BVI and 16 other markets in the Caribbean.
