ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Reggae superstar Chronixx is set to light up Tortola Pier Park on March 12, 2016 when KT Productions and Pumpstation Entertainment present their Dread and Terrible Tour Tortola.

Apart from the headline act, who will be accompanied by Zincfence Redemption Band, the show will be supported by local acts such as Maccabee, Ritical, Sistah Joyce and Shine I.

Speaking with this news site today March 2, 2016, host of the International Morning Ride Show Paul 'Gadiethz' Peart said he will be the host of the show and he was also involved in the promotional aspects of it.

Peart said Chronixx of Jamaica is known internationally and is highly regarded as the “reincarnation” of reggae music the likes of which Bob Marley performed in his day.

“As far as the cultural and realistic part of the music is taken in by the conscious mind throughout the world, Chronixx and the Zincfence Redemption will be storming the British Virgin Islands,” said Peart.

This will be the first time Chronixx is going to be in the VI but Peart said that his International Morning Ride Show has always maintained a relationship with the artist through his father and has had the father call in on the show.

Peart said Chronixx is building international acclaim as an artist and has been on a number of shows, including the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and has headlined many shows in the Caribbean and further afield.

The radio show host said that while he did not have all of the details regarding time and date, he is confident that journalists will be able to meet and greet with the artist before the show.

He said too that Digicel customers may have opportunities to win tickets to the show. However, the details for this will be made known in the near future.

Sponsors for the show are Coca-Cola, Digicel, RTW, Da Vibe 107.9 FM and Red Lion. Tickets for the show are available from ZROD 103.7 FM, Hazem's Beauty Supplies, Digicel stores and Bolo's.

This is another attempt to take our minds off the money missing and the corruption at the Ports by having it at the TPP. After the music stops some people need to be JAIL!

Gadietz again! Come on! Kenny please change up the vibes. I am not able to listen to the same congo drums beating all night. Every performer is the same conscious type music. That is boring. That is ah overkill of reggae music on one night.

Too much conscious music is boring for you......this is not your type of event them. A night of conscious music is exactly what the VI needs.
