Christmas comes early for youth Ballers!
Organisers Steve Parillon and Karl Scatliffe, who have been running programmes at the new Save the Seed Sports Complex, have chosen the Multi Purpose Complex in Road Town for the week-long camp, which runs from 9 A.M. until 1 P.M each day.
“This will be a great opportunity for the BVI children to receive structure and organised basketball training,” commented Parillon. “Basic training is very important from a young age in order to produce higher level basketball players.”
BVI Hoop It Foundation is holding its 2nd annual Christmas basketball camp from Monday December 17 to Friday December 21, 2012 at the Multi-purpose complex. The camp will be conducted from 9 A.M. to 1P.M. and will be open to boys and girls ages 5 to 18.
Registration for the camp takes place today, Friday December 14, 2012 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the Multi-purpose complex. However, Parillon also confirmed that there would be a final opportunity for parents to sign up their children. “We will hold a final registration on the first morning, next Monday,” he stated.
