ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – At a time when young women all over the world are realising their potential and fulfilling their dreams in life, local Virgin Islander, Karia J. Christopher, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the Charm Academy, is stepping up to allow the young women of the Virgin Islands to do the same.

Founder of the Charm Academy will be hosting an event dubbed, ‘Dreams to Vision; you future realised’ on June 16, 2018, at the BVI Arbitration Centre from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

The event is geared to young women between the ages of 12 to 18 who will learn to sparkle in all aspects of their lives in an innovative one day conference.

Mrs Christopher expressed in a press release on May 24, 2018, that the Charm Academy came to fruition because of a desire to see the “limitless potential” of all people realised whether it be socially or professionally.

“In the wake of Hurricanes Irma and Maria, she was inspired to launch its inaugural event to celebrate the resilience, strength and hope of the beautiful people of the Virgin Islands. I believe we as a people, especially with all the recent events transpiring should give our children the tools to become successful adults and self-sustainable,” said Ms Christopher.

She added, “As our economic, social, and cultural environments develop at accelerating speed our children should be equipped to be able to compete on the global stage and most importantly be confident in who they are.”

Actioned-packed interactive symposium

The event will see some of the Virgin Islands most influential and inspiring professionals who will guide the young women on a journey of self-actualisation, while learning lessons on respectability, posture, manners, grooming, confidence, self-image, and more.

Participants would also be exposed to fine dining, yoga, writing business proposals, public speaking, team building and financial management.

To be a part of this revolutionary conference interested persons can contact Mrs Karia J. Christopher via email thecharmacademy2018@gmail.com. Deadline for registration is Thursday, May 31, 2018.
