ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – CCT Global Communications on Friday April 10, 2015 partnered with Waffle Therapy to bring to its customers a breakfast treat with a view to encouraging the public to support small businesses and to ultimately drive the economy forward.

The breakfast was available from 9:00am to 11:00am in the company’s store in Road Town.

Customers of CCT had the opportunity to sample the titbits prepared by Waffle Therapy – waffles with a variety of toppings and juice.

Speaking to this news site, CCT’s Marketing and Public Relations Manager Janette N. Brin said the initiative to invite Waffle Therapy was one born from the recent trade show sponsored by CCT.

“Basically CCT decided as a follow up to our involvement in the CCT Buy BVI trade show as title sponsor for a three-year term showing our commitment in terms of encouraging the community to support local business to help drive our economy,” she said.

“So we thought it was fitting to continue that momentum and not wait for an annual event but continually encourage people to support local business and small businesses, so that we are continuously driving our economy,” she said, adding that there is still a lot of work to do.

Brin said Waffle Therapy was one of the companies that took part in the CCT Buy BVI Trade Show and “we invited them and some other business and until May we will have other businesses join us [every Friday] where CCT will give them the opportunity to showcase what they are doing.”

She said it is recognised that the times are challenging and as such, “We have to take the initiative as business owners and managers in the respective companies that operate here, just as average citizens, to support each other in what we do.”

Speaking with this news site, Judy E. Georges, owner of Waffle Therapy said the company is a new one which started on a small scale catering to birthday parties, office parties and other similar events. “We saw the trade show advertised and we thought it a great opportunity to advertise the business more,” she told this news site.

George's added that there was an overwhelming response from people at the trade show. “People were loving it so it was exciting to see we were making a hit with people,” said Georges.

CCT you are the best of the lot. If you get the prices down a little you will be the leader because you got the best staff. They are all nice.
