CCT brings ‘back to school’ supplies to Rainbow Children’s Home

ROAD TOWN, Tortola VI - CCT (BVI) yesterday, Monday, August 20, 2018, kicked off a two-week schedule of distribution throughout the Territory with the first handout of school supplies being presented, to the children of Rainbow Children’s Home.

Deputy Superintendent of the Rainbow Children’s Home, Ms Eileen Potter, receiving the supplies said, “…we are always grateful for the time and contributions that CCT has always invested to ensure that the children at the Home are always kept in mind.”

Ecstatic

She said too, “we would like to thank CCT for your continued support and today’s contribution of school supplies which has truly put us one step closer to being prepared for the re-opening of school,”

Commenting on the presentation of backpacks and school supplies to the children of the Home, Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator, Jerilee T. Hopkins, related during the modest handing over that “we are always ecstatic when it comes to giving back to the community…The opportunity to assist children to be ready to start another school year and equipped to succeed is a feeling of accomplishment and I encourage other companies and organisations to jump on board with initiatives like this.”

CCT has scheduled a territory wide 'Back to School Drive,' beginning with Tortola on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at CCT Business Office located on Fishlock Road opposite the Fire Station; Virgin Gorda on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Walters Recreational Park; Anegada on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Anegada Reef Hotel and Jost van Dyke on Friday August 31, 2018 at Foxy’s.
