ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Digicel 20/20 cricket returns to the Greenlands playing field today, May 5, 2013 with four time defending champions Cavaliers facing the Police at 2pm.
The Cavaliers have lost several key players including Keith Semple, Daniel Singh and Vijay Jhappen.
The new captain, Jagnarine Persaud, will have to lead from the front with the support of Julian Sinclair in the bowling department as well as Roshan Hushman.
With the bat they will turn to Teddy Nankishore and the likes of Vishal Bharat and Kwesi Sinclair
The Police have drafted in several youngsters from the BVICA's youth development programmes which are run in partnership with the WICB including Kadesh Talle, Ricky Singh, Raoul Roberts, Kevin Silchand, Yash Banthia and Michael Tranquille.
They also have the experienced Nigel Niles, Kevin joseph, Adrian Kartik , Vin Rambarose and Ricardo Noel.
The first game at 10 am features Lucas United against Virgin Gorda.
