ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As part of continuing efforts to contribute to the development of the Virgin Islands, Caribbean Cellars will host a customer appreciation and product expo block party that will benefit the Mental Health Unit of the BVI Health Services Authority.

The event, which takes place on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the organisation’s parking lot in Lower Estate, is now in its third year and seeks to benefit non-profit organisations in the community.

As May is Mental Health Awareness month, Caribbean Cellars saw it as an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the Mental Health Unit to assist in the provision of mental healthcare in the Territory.

General Manager of Caribbean Cellars, Kevin Fahie, believes that the event coincides with the company’s desire to create community development initiatives that provide consumers with the chance to experience the company’s diverse product offerings. “It’s important that we show our customers that we are engaged and connected to the community,” Fahie said.

“As we continuously grow and expand our product offerings, we believe that we should use every opportunity to remind our customers that we truly appreciate them, while utilizing our resources to benefit the community of which we are a part of.”

With an entry fee of $10, guests can experience various sample stations that will feature Caribbean Cellars brands, games for children, as well as entertainment provided by B’more, Jedi, VIBE, HLSCC Stingray Singers and Mangee Audio.

Attendees can also purchase raffle tickets at the cost of $10 for a chance to win two round trip tickets to the Dominican Republic with InterCaribbean Airways; Reef and Necker tours, compliments of Gumption Tours; graduation and prom make-up services through Tek-9 Cosmetics; Samsung J5 from CCT; carwash and lobster dinner from KMS; customised clothing apparel from T-shirt Genius; and a makeover from Body Glam Cosmetics.
