VENLO, Netherlands- After convincingly defeating Forward Lease Rotterdam, 99-64, in game one of the 3-game playoff series of the Dutch Basketball League on May 1, 2018, New Heroes Den Bosch, featuring Virgin Islander Norville S. Carey, narrowly lost game two 93-97 on May 3, 2018 and also came up agonisingly short in game three, 89-92, on Saturday May 5, 2018.

Carey, who enjoyed a good performance in the first two games, 13 and 12 respectively, was held to just 2 points (from free throws) in his almost 14 minutes of play off the bench.

Keshun Sherrill, 23 points, and Nick Oudendag, 17 points, were the top scorers for home side New Heroes Den Bosch, who have been left to examine what went wrong after such a brilliant start to the 3-game series.

Ordane Kanda had a game high 36 points for Forward Lease Rotterdam, who move on the semi-finals.
