@Boss. You sound real ignorant. So if you are visiting somewhere and this happen to you would you like for someone to make such a ignorant comment? No one have to come to your Country to die to give your Country a bad name. Your Country already have a bad name.

@hmm this woman is my mother. And while she always taught me to be polite and patient with everyone around me your soulless and obviously poorly thought out comment just goes to show how ignorant people can be. You have never met my parents, myself or any of my family and clearly have no idea what you are talking about. I hope you never experience what I am feeling having lost my mom and even more so I hope when you read an article on the death of your loved one abroad some spineless coward like YOU doesn't leave words like you have. As I mentioned to another ignorant comment poster, these are your words and you can never take them back. Your words hurt and if you are brave enough to leave a comment like this you could at least have the guts to leave your real name.

        -Andrew, her son.

Hi Andrew, My condolences to you in this trying time. my advice to you, for the sake of your mourning and your peace of mind, avoid reading these blogs. As you can see, ppl can be insensitive a**holes, that make fun or senseless remarks of everything instead of being human and understanding someone else's situation. these blogs will only fester hate and anger in an already difficult time in your life. I pray you find peace and may your mom rest in peace!

Boss you heartless soulless coward. That woman was my Mother. I truly hope you never feel the pain I am experiencing now and your comments show how truly poor of a person you are. You cannot take back what you have said it is forever your own words. Its people like YOU who give BVI a bad name nothing else. Your family should be ashamed of you.

Every day, 155,000 people die world wide, 7,700 per day in the US, 1,400 per day in the UK. That said, I would not necessarily describe a 62 year old as elderly.

I guess that “boss” and “Eagle Eye” just could not resist making stupid blogs when a family is mourning a lost one. Dumb and hurtful.

The woman who died was wonderful, kind, active and very fit. We do not yet know how she died. She leaves behind the love of her life, her children, grandchild, sibling(s) and many other dear family and friends. Her husband is devastated as are we all. If you cannot be kind, then say nothing...please. We have lost someone very special...

Exactly what 'a friend' said. This world is in turmoil. Such harshness. At this time, kindness and love would be appreciated. She was not even near elderly, and a truly beautiful soul. Her family, myself included, don't know what happened, and will find this place trying to get answers. Can you imagine what it's like to read some of the insensitive comments?

If it was you, your family, someone you love?

we take a lot of these deaths with tourist for granted, however we have to look a little closer. People use these areas to get rid of their love ones for financial gain. You remember the case where there was a conviction in the the USA over someone that drowned in our waters. Its was only then we saw the need to have a case here. Lets open our eyes more and connect the dots.

The Real Judge.... My mom taught me better than to say things like what you are posting. Unfortunately yours clearly did not. If you knew her you'd be crying yourself to sleep like I do since hearing the news. You are a coward and your family should be ashamed of you. If you had any ounce of decency you will post an apology for your words on here but since you wont even leave your name I suspect you will just hide behind your keyboard.

I am sorry for the lost to the entire Family. I have been reading and Monitoring Jounalism strategy in the BVI and noticed anything surrounding negative the jounalist is quick to name a black own business name in black and white but when it comes to a white own Company they uses clues like this above " a well known Charter Yacht Company". for international google search so that nothing negative is associated with the Company business name but they dont provide that same level of proctection for local black own companies. SMH.

    This is terribly sad.
And it is simply indecent that some people feel the need to make hideous comments such as “eagle eye”, “boss”, and “The Real Judge”, in the light of a visiting family’s tremendous loss.
Show some Respect, or say nothing at all, please.
