ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Swearing and ranting to the top of his voice yesterday January 26, 2015, Camille King of St Thomas, USVI, who is currently an inmate at Her Majesty’s Prison, Balsum Ghut, Tortola, had to be whisked away by special police as he was creating a ruckus in the Magistrate’s Court cell.

It was alleged that King had made a mess of the floor of the cell after he had eaten and was refusing to concur to the instructions of police officers who were manning the cell at the time. Persons on the outside of the court were alerted to the scene as a policewoman came running outside looking for other police officers.

“Come, Come, Come, they need help, they need help,” said a law woman as she sought the assistance of a marine police officer who was in the court yard at the time. Shortly after a sea of special squad officers swamp the court yard as they came driving in a rush.

Moments after King’s voice drowned the atmosphere as he could now be heard even before being seen, “F… you I aint cleaning nothing,” he repeated several times. As he emerged from the court building firmly held by several police officers he continued saying the same words but was not seen to have been attempting to fight off the arrest of the officers.

As he was being put into a police vehicle he yelled, “Ayo want treat people like daag, Ayo mudda F… I aint cleaning nothing.” He was then whisked away to the Road Town Police Station where he was held until it was time for him to be returned to the Prison.

The Prison bus was not on the scene at the time and several other prisoners were also in the cell waiting to be transported back to prison as their matters were already dealt with by the Magistrate.

Looks like the accused was caught red-handed . There is no doubt that every police force has some bad eggs but to call them jokers makes you the joker. Why don't you try to do that job ? Have some respect ! Without someone to keep some civility we will become a lawless society !
