What Kye did is commendable. I also think if government contributed in making this project a reality they should be givem their recognition along with all the other volunteers and sponsors. It won't diminish his efforts in any way. If we are to get much done in our communities, we must embrace the public/private collaboration.

But who was responsible for the backboards? If it’s government, why not thank them for it or acknowledge them? The court would be useless without them right? Don’t persons recognize all major contributors? So in the list of contributions and acknowledgements, they ought to have been mentioned. It’s sounding like pure politricks.

@fishy, kye is responsible for the back boards. Don’t mind that fake invoice they put out in social media. If you take a good notice it’s an invoice from 2017. If they so want to fix basketball court, tell them to go up Anegada and fix that one over there. Set ah dutty minded people. Bad mine ah go kill them.

The invoice is not fake the person name was scatched out to protect the local contractor. A local contractor did build the backboards.

How is it that many who provide sponsorship were not mention? We all know this was a manufactured political stunt.
