Road Town, Tortola, VI - A bucket crane truck belonging to the BVI Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) while parked on the top of Skelton's Hill, lower Road Town, collapsed and rolled down the hill.

Speaking to an employee of the BVIEC who was at the scene, he told this news site that the truck was parked while workers were standing on the same hill. He stated that workers, upon seeing and hearing the truck collapsing, swiftly moved out of harm’s way.

Virgin Islands News Online was told that no one was hurt.

The truck has now been moved and taken to BVIEC’s compound in Long Bush.

This news site contacted Mr. Henry Creque of the BVI Electricity Corporation for further information, but was told nothing could be said at this time.

when i saw this I jump out of my seat as I remember years ago when the three guys were killed in the BVI EC accident. We have a lot to be thankful for that no mothers or wifes, or girlfriends are crying tonight.
