PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI - Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that the RiteWay Food Markets location at Pasea Estate, Tortola, was reportedly burglarised this morning, Saturday, July 18, 2020, at around 4:35 am.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force, inquiries indicate that the rear window leading to the kitchen was observed to be broken.

Further, the police said some objects inside the store appeared to have been tampered with.  

The RVIPF is asking that anyone with information to contact their three-digit access number 311 or the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339.

It is unclear if the burglary was the act of a single individual or several.

VINO will bring more information as it becomes available.

    @Z, them police SHOULD NOT be security officers at AT ANY TIME. Check the grade level of pay, with a recent salary increase. That is conflict of intrest. Another reason why so many court cases are consistently postponed. They are never ready for court. Their motto is all about the money, benefits and what ever other cushions they can get. Their style is corrupt too much for a SMALL place. We are looking at Jamaican and American style of policing. Mr. Primer start rooting up and rooting out soon. More of them than us!!
