What else to be expected! No job = no money. Unscrupulous and desperate individuals will resort to robbery. It will get worst. Police is not doing a good job protecting the community. Policing, patrolling as detergents. Be out there with lights on letting scumbags know they can be caught. More Police Officers, more $ for equipment, good vehicles and still ineffective.

The curfew has nothing to do with this situation. The dirty minded criminals would have done it even without the curfew being in place because that is simply what they do- thief!

The government just expect to suddenly close the borders on people and give them no help or access to help and fend for themselves. I told everyone this would happen. No one in the tourist industry and other reliant industries have had any pay since mid March. Bills are still pilling up, belly still empty, children still home. How we gonna pay, the banks and rtw don't accept blood and rocks. The country getting desperate and the VI government just dragging their feet. Every other country has helped their people and we're still here waiting to hear. we put so much into the bvi, now we ask for help when we need it. The government has never bailed out its people and we still pay tax, ss, stinking nhi and high imports on ALL goods. It will get worse. With no hope and no info and no light at the end of the tunnel. Should we just die in our homes while we wait. Wake up

Look at the camera footage on properties and the vicinity of those reporting burglary. Look for familiar faces that visit these locations then Bam! You've got suspects. I want to believe that these thieves don't just go robbing places. Surely they visit these places to scope the insides. Look at every buyer, every face that enters each business. This may just help catch the perps.

You see when this curfew lift to later hours criminals waiting patiently for this, you can’t detect people high day with these Ninja mask must less in night, robberies like crazy, not enough arm police to protect business owners and the criminals knows theirs no law for owners to bare arms, so robbers will have a field day because of the old one sided system and law, that’s why no white man runs late night activities in Tortola no law to back them, blacks robbing blacks sad

@bob, you and company should move to Jamaica and make sure you take the nationals from here with you. Next time you go to Finlay's store in Sea cows bay count how many products are made there and also check for the ones made in the BVI. Do the maths from there to the bank. Just shut the %&^&* up!
