ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Third District Representative Hon Julian Fraser RA yesterday July 22, 2014 challenged Minister for Communications and Works Hon Mark H. Vanterpool in the House of Assembly to bring forward whatever report he might have on the Sea Cow’s Bay Marina project done under the previous administration.

“At some point in the previous Government the Sea Cow’s Bay harbor was being fenced up. I ain't see nothing for that,” said the Minister while debating the Auditor General’s report on the cruise pier project. This report had been laid on the Table of the House of Assembly yesterday.

“I don’t know whose land was fenced up,” Hon Vanterpool said.

However at this point Hon Fraser rose to his feet on a Point of Order, saying, “As far as I understand, the Minister is supposed to be talking about some Auditor General’s report. If he has it, he needs to bring it forward instead of talking about it further."

Fraser was referring to any report Minister Vanterpool might have from the Auditor General on the Sea Cow’s Bay project.

“The Minister told me last week that he is fencing his brother in law’s property out of Wickham’s Cay to do staging for the same [cruise pier] project. I don’t see that in any Cabinet decision,” Hon Fraser said.

“Further, whatever was done on the Sea Cow’s Bay project it was due by Executive Council to be done under a series of petty contracts, so I don’t know where the Minister is going with this,” said Hon Fraser.

Before continuing with the matter on the floor, Hon Vanterpool took a last swing at Hon Fraser, saying that when he took office following the 2011 elections, he met over $15 million in contracts and could not find Cabinet decisions for any of them.

      Can't you read?

Fraser still needs to answer the questions about cabinet decisions for SCB. And since there is no auditor's report for SCB, Fraser can afford to ask Mark to bring it

Vanterpool playing games and If they continue down the path of having Government see itself as the reason for its existence, you will do nothing but destroy the individual, each other and the country
