Boy in USVI assaults mother for blocking him from using internet
CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, VI — A minor assaulted his mother after she blocked his use of the Internet, United States Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) Media Specialist Sakeeda Freeman recently announced.
According to Ms Freeman, on Monday, February 22 at 10:47 am, a minor was arrested at Princesse Gade and charged with simple assault after he repeatedly pulled his mother off of her bed because she refused to give him access to the internet.
The minor was later released to the custody of his parents.
Elsewhere in St Thomas, on Monday, February 22, Leonaldo Greene, 20, of Vester Gade, was arrested at roughly 12:25 pm and charged with violation of a restraining order after he went into his sister’s room and violated a restraining order that prohibits him from making contact with his sister.
Mr Greene was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advise-of-rights hearing.
