Boat with large quantity of cash onboard intercepted

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– Officers of the Police Marine Branch and the Special Investigations Team, while on patrol, intercepted a 30 ft. motor vessel near Village Cay late Tuesday evening, October 7, 2015.

The boat and the lone occupant onboard were searched and a bag carrying a large quantity of cash was uncovered.

The money was seized and the occupant was interviewed and released pending a decision by the Office of Public Prosecution.

Early in September, a native of Puerto Rico was also charged after he was found on a small vessel in the waters off of Towers, West End with a travel bag containing a large quantity of cash.

    I wonder if it was bound for Conaree Beach in SKB or Antigua or Dominica or right here in the VI as they all have their link up. Where there is stack of cash,there tend to be drugs and guns.We will only have peace if we turn from our wicked ways and turn to Jesus.
