ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – While Mr Earl D. Hodge is breathing a sigh of relief following a decision of the Appeal Court as it related to a preliminary appeal on his part as it relates to the North Carolina USA extradition, he and the others in the joint matter are still awaiting decision of Justice Vicki Ann Ellis.

Yesterday September 29, 2014 the Court of Appeal made a decision in favour of Hodge following a preliminary application as it relates to the Government’s appeal against the initial decision which was made by High Court Judge Albert Redhead in September 2012 which had ruled that Hodge be tried locally as opposed to the USA.

With a December 5, 2014 date set for Hodge, Carlton Beazer, Juan Valdez, Chad Skelton, and Roberto Harrigan to appear in the Magistrate’s Court they are still awaiting the decision of Justice Vicki Ann Ellis.

The five men are wanted by the US government to face the justice system there after being fingered allegedly in a 13 year-old drug ring in Florida, USA.

Persons in citing examples of abuses by former Governor William B. McCleary cited his violation of the rights of the five men in the Extradition Case. According to them he used the wrong law to instruct the Magistrate to start the procedure for sending the five men to the United States of America for alleged drugs conspiracy.

We as a society should never tolerate drug trafficking . So when these accusers are apprehended we should let justice run its course. It is rather amusing that we always seek justice for criminals yet we feel sorry for them when they are behind bars. Go figure !

God helps everyone abs extends the hand of mercy to all men but it is really really amazing to read some of these blogs of persons saying that those men has done nothing wrong. Are we really serious? In every case a person can be freed on technicality but can we honestly say that those men has don't nothing wrong. We all know that they are no saints so let's be honest with ourselves, come on we all know what they were into so why bury our heads in the sand and try to live in denial. We really have some wicked people in this society who are all bent on supporting wrong and at the end if the day still want to be calling God's name
