Bermudian woman busted at Guyana airport with cocaine in stomach

GEORGETOWN, Guyana- A national of Bermuda was arrested at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport after ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch suspected that she might have ingested an illegal substance.
GEORGETOWN, Guyana- A national of Bermuda was arrested at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport after ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch suspected that she might have ingested an illegal substance.
The woman whose name has not been released, was taken to the Georgetown Hospital where she excreted several pellets containing cocaine. She has passed out more than 13 ounces of the cocaine filled pellets so far.
The Guyana Police Force said she remains a patient of the hospital. Criminal charges will be laid against her early in the new week. She was an outgoing passenger.
