ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Bayside Blazers had a day to remember yesterday March 28, 2015 when its two teams participating in the K&J 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament turned back their challengers and are likely to be facing each other today March 29, 2015 at the Multipurpose Sports Complex.

In the Open Men’s category, Bayside Blazers 2 defeated Off Da Street 15 – 10 while Bayside Blazers 1 defeated Put More 15 – 4. In the same category, Kingz defeated 4 Guys 15 – 2. Bayside Blazers Team 1 is coached by Roy E. Garraway and Team 2 is coached by Kevon S. Lettsome.

In the boys’ 16 to 18 category, And One defeated Elites 15 – 9 while Who’s Next defeated East Side 14 – 4. Ballers 2 defeated Clutch 14 – 9 while And One defeated Unknown by forfeiture. Who’s Next then defeated Ballers 15 – 2 and East Side defeated Clutch 15 – 13.

In the boy’s 13 to 15 category, Future defeated Shutters 21 – 7 and G4L defeated Another Level 9 – 8.
Future defeated Warriors 21 – 2 while Arrow Gang defeated G4L 13 – 14. Warriors defeated Another Level 8 – 7. G4L beat Shutters 15 – 5.

In the boy’s 9 to 12 category, Ballers 1 defeated Thunder Hawks 11 – 4 while Killer Squad defeated Young Stars 4 – 3. Bang Bros defeated Killer Squad 11 – 4 while Young Stars defeated Thunder Hawks 11 – 5. Bang Bros defeated Ballers 9 – 4.

In the junior girls’ category, Dream Chasers defeated Flying Girls 11 – 3 in the first round and also defeated them 12 – 3 in the second round. In the senior girls category, Most Talent defeated Avengers 5 – 2 while Avengers took revenge in the second round to defeat Most Talent 9 - 7 after being tied at 7 at the end of regulation time.

The action continues today from 12 noon.
