ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed Basketball League 2014 Championship team Bayside Blazers, climaxed their victory celebration laps with a grand victory party last Friday December 5, 2014 at the Basement Night Club at UP's Cineplex.

The team that is backed by corporate and elected officials sponsorship was celebrating its hard fought victory in the second annual Julian Fraser Save the Seed Basketball League.

It was a night to relax, eat, drink and reminisce about the hard work the team put into being victorious in the popular and already prestigious Hon Julian Fraser Save the Seed National Basketball League.

Those in attendance included Team Manager Julian Willock, Head Coach Rhennie O. Phipps, Assistant Coach Jason A. Edwin and Team Captain Rhodni A. Skelton. Some of the Bayside Blazers players who made the grand championship party included Louie A. Poblete, Sandy E. Nadal, Ken E. Silva, Asim Z. C. Beazer, Jolyon J. D. Wilson, and Jubal K. Jones along with the Team Scorer/Statistician Gavin J. Foster.

It was a night to show not only appreciation to the players and their families, but to show the fans, well wishers and other loyal supporters how much their support, especially coming out to the games to cheer for the team and encouragement, were deeply appreciated.

Musical entertainment was provided by Ah Milli Soundz, with catering services by MVW International.

Many of the Bayside Blazers sponsors made contributions to ensuring the victory party could be possible and team manager Julian Willock expressed on behalf of the Bayside Blazers his sincere gratitude.

“There are a lot of kind people in corporate BVI and elected officials from both sides of the aisle and whenever I pick up the phone and call or send them an e-mail they are always willing to say here is fifty dollars, a hundred dollars, a case of something....that is so encouraging to me and the team” Willock said.

Speaking to this news site Assistant Coach of the Bayside Blazers Jason A. Edwin said the party was one of the last times for the year the team has to reflect on the achievements for the year. "Obviously we will be going in a different direction after that so we appreciate the players who sacrificed their time and worked hard throughout the season," he said. "As for the party it was a good social event. We invited good friends in the basketball world to come out with us," he said.
