Bandits rob Lynton Bar in Baughers Bay

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Police are seeking assistance in identifying the two armed assailants that entered a bar in Baughers Bay and fled with cash on Saturday evening, October 31, 2015.

The two masked men reportedly entered Lynton Bar in Baughers Bay from the back around 11:30pm, approached the female bar attendant and demanded cash. The two then fled the bar on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

One assailant is described as 5’8, slim built, wearing a gray hoody, white t-shirt covering his face and white gloves while the other is described as 5’10 wearing a white hoody, a hat and black t-shirt covering his face.

Neither the bar attendant nor the customers in the bar at the time were injured in the incident.

Persons with information that can assist in identifying the assailants can contact detectives within the Criminal Investigations Department through the RVIPF access number 311. Persons can also give that information anonymously to Crimestoppers through its Miami-based hotline number 800-TIPS (8477).
