I was in the living room reading when the shot went off, I turn of the light and peep out the window just in time to see the back of a man in all black running past my house. I live four houses away from where the shot was fired.

I was in the kitchen when I heard it and from living in NYC, you hear gun shots, you turn off the lights and hit the floor.I heard running but I was not trying to go anywhere near the kitchen window.

You can’t call the person a fool. Four houses away can mean in any direction.

As people stay longer out of work, their money is depleting. So when people are hungry or cannot feed their families, desperation sets in. Look out for more of this. It would survival of the fittest

“The bandit then immediately opened fire in the direction of the resident...before MAKING GOOD HIS ESCAPE from the property”?
Please stop glorifying these guys with this kind of language.
The coward shot at his potential victim and then ran away. Period. End of sentence.
