CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI – First District students were on Monday, September 24, 2018, prepped once again to head ‘back-to-school’ when organisers hosted another successful BAMBELELA (Never give up) after school homework/study programme at the Seven Day Adventist (SDA) Youth Center in Carrot Bay.

The activity was consecrated with a brief opening ceremony, and now they are "down to work."

Organisers have since expressed gratitude to Pastor Webster and the Carrot Bay SDA Board, for allowing the programme to be housed in the Youth Center, “until the Abraham Leonard Community Center is repaired from the damages caused by Hurricane Irma more than a year ago.”

The programme is being facilitated by experienced educators: Teachers Jackie, Anthony, Housing and Darlene.

The BAMBELELA after school programme has being going strong since 2014 and organisers have since also extended appreciation for continued support, to Blue Ocean and the Richardsons, “for partnering with us from the inception…Irma interrupted the programme but couldn't stop it.”

Are you trying to say Bronx bommer? Last time I checked, that is the way it pronounced.
