SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – The Sea Cows Bay Basketball Club’s Roger Allen Hodge Basketball Tournament is well underway, with Green Machine recording their second win on Friday July 3, 2015 on the outdoor court in Sea Cows Bay.

Green Machine were led to their win on Friday by Jamar Thomas and Kadeam Maynard who both scored 8 points. Glenroy Thomas notched 4 points with 3 steals and Thomas added 5 rebounds in the 22-14 victory over All In.

For All In, Jeh Kherb Bah Wiliams scored 8 points with 3 rebounds.

The previous week, Green Machine had beaten the Blue Brothers, 21-18, with Thomas again leading the way with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 assist. Maynard scored 10 points and added 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists to his stats.

For the Blue Brothers, K’Von Thomas netted 6 points with 9 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block, whilst Jaleel Smith scored 4 points.

Swaggas splatter In the Paint

In the 11-13 yr old division, Swaggas beat In the Paint, 50-24, with Malaki Smith hitting a double double of 30 points and 14 rebounds. He also grabbed 6 steals and 2 assists. Antwon Robinson added his own double with 12 points, 16 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals and 5 blocks, whilst Keshawn Esprit scored 6 points and 1 block.

For In the Paint, Requan Garroway scored 9 points, 1 Rebound, 2 steals, 1 block, Jaleel Smith notched 7 points, 1 rebound and 1 steal and Shacarie Newman contributed 4 points.

On Saturday July 4, 2015 Gold Brothers beat All In, 22-14.

Action resumes on Tuesday July 7, 2015 with Green Machine playing Blue Brothers at 4pm, followed by In the Paint against West Massive.
