Arrests reportedly made in relation to VG shooting & robbery

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Several persons were reportedly taken into custody, yesterday, May 29, 2019, as police continued their investigations into the shooting and robbery incident that occurred on Virgin Gorda on May 24, 2019.

Gunmen had pounced on a businessman who was reportedly finalising his cash payroll at the time. One person was shot during the incident.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, of the persons detained is a well-known couple in the Virgin Gorda community.

A number of ranks from Tortola were deployed to the sister island to assist with the arrests.

Acting Police Press Officer, Akia L. Thomas, did not confirm the arrests to our newsroom and only said police were still investigating.

“At this time investigations into the robbery are still ongoing. Information will be released as it becomes available,” Ms Thomas said today, May 30, 2019.

    Humans ain’t sick and tired of embarrassing both their names and family last names? Humans ain’t tried see the only people wins lawyers and the only places that win are prison and graveyards. Humans can’t see that it’s just doesn’t worth it? Humans can’t understand that we can live within our means or work harder for what we want/need?     This is a perfect example of why parents should not spoil children, especially grown @#$ rotten ones. Stop bailing them out of trouble because they will mess with the wrong person and instead of bailing you will be burying.

    All this trouble with one leg, I won't like it if this dude had 2 good legs. These two brother swear they are above the law but the right day will come. Set ah louse.
