Arrest Blotter - March 24-March 30, 2013

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Below is the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Arrest Blotter for March 24 to March 30, 2013.

COMMON ASSAULT

  1. On 25-03-2013 at 0855hrs, Police arrested and charged Kenneth Maduro, 45, of Sea Cows Bay for Common Assault. Maduro was granted police bail to appear before the Magistrate’s Court, John’s Hole on 06-05-2013. 
  2. On 25-03-2013 at 1546hrs, Police arrested and charged Sonnel Hanley for the offence of Common Assault. He was granted Police bail.
  3. On 26-03-2013 at 2030hrs, Police arrested and charged Carlos Clivy Gumbs of Cane Garden Bay for Assault, Threatening Language and Possession of Cannabis. He was granted police bail in the sum of $10,000 with one surety for his appearance at the Magistrate's court on 19-04-2013 at 0900hrs.

RAPE

  1. On 27-03-2013 at 2330hrs, Police arrested and charged Raymond Harrison, 38, Jamaican national residing in The Settlement, Anegada on two counts of rape and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
  2. On 28-03-2013 at 2355hrs, Police arrested and charged Sylon "Sly" Forbes, 30, Trinidadian national residing in the Settlement Anegada on one count of Rape and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.

ASSAULT OCCASIONING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

On 28-03-2013 at 1300hrs, Police arrested and charged Marcos Huggins Rincon, 35, native of Dominican Republic and resident of The Settlement, Anegada for the offence of Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm. Rincon was granted police bail in the sum of $5,000 signed by one surety for his appearance in court on 28-05-2013 at John’s Hole in Road Town Tortola. 

THEFT

On 28-03-2013 at 2045hrs, Police arrested and charged Luenda Ells, 47, residing in Greenland for the offence of Theft. Ells was granted police bail in the sum of $20,000 with one surety for her appearance at Magistrate’s Court at Johns Hole on 15-04-2013 at 0900hrs.
