Arrest Blotter: June 19 - 25, 2016

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Here is the record of arrests made by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) for the period June 19- 25, 2016.

ASSAULT CAUSING ACTUAL BODILY HARM

On 19-06-2016 at 0740hrs, Police arrested and charged Cindy Christina Mena Daniel, 23, of Long Bush for the offence of Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm. She was granted Police bail for her appearance in Magistrate’s Court on 15-07-2016.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF CANNABIS

On 21-06-2016 at 1310hrs, Police arrested and charged a 17-year-old male of Vanterpool Estate for the offences of (1) Unlawful Possession of Cannabis. (2) Drive Unregistered Vehicle, (3) Drive Unlicensed Vehicle and (4) Drive without Driver's License.  He was granted Police bail in the sum of $2,000 with one signed surety to appear before Magistrate's Court on 16-09-2016 at 0900hrs.

THREATENING LANGUAGE

On 23-06-2016 at 1855hrs, Police arrested and charged Eric Nibbs, 42, of Belle Vue for the offences of Threatening Language and Failing to comply with order given by Police. Nibbs was granted Police bail for his appearance before Magistrate’s Court on 09-07-2015.

THEFT

On 23-06-2016 at 1920hrs, Police arrested and charged El-Jorge Mervin Samuel Herbert, 19, of Johnson's Ghut for Theft. 

COMMON ASSAULT

On 24/06/2014 at 2250hrs, Police arrested and charged Thaddus Martin, 29, of Horse Path for Common Assault. He was granted Police bail for his appearance before Magistrate’s Court on 09-09-2016.
