CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI— Four masked men, one brandishing a firearm, on Monday night , April 20, 2020, stormed the Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant located in the Nisky Shopping Center on St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI) and robbed the establishment of an undisclosed amount of cash.

This is according to [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) Public Information Officer Toby Derima, who said officers were dispatched to the location at about 9:46 pm.

He said the employees at the establishment reported that four males wearing black attire with their faces covered entered the restaurant. One of the males brandished a handgun, demanding money from the restaurant. The suspects made off with money from the establishment, as they fled the area in an unknown direction.

This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau.

Anyone with any information regarding this crime is asked to call 911, the Criminal Investigation Bureau at (340) 774-2211 extension 5610 or Crime Stoppers USVI at (800) 222-8477.
