VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI-The Mourant College Classic 2-Mile Series on Virgin Gorda wrapped up last Saturday, November 9, 2019 with former champion Reuben Stoby and Mariah Christian winning the finale.
Stoby clocked 11:45.75 to beat overall champion Curwin Andrews (13:09.75) and veteran road racer Emrol Amsterdam (13:33.41), who were second and third respectively.
In the female category, overall champion Mariah Christian ran a time of 13:36.08 for a comfortable win. Second was Kaeliyah Liburd (17:30.19) and third Dikya Thomas in (18:39.79).
Makelia Fergus (15:32.19) won the Secondary Schools Division and Eva Fox (19:45.12) the Primary Schools’.
