Alleged laptop thief gets second chance
Shelleza Frank appeared before Magistrate Tamia Richards on the charge of theft involving a laptop.
According to the Prosecution, the laptop has since been recovered and returned to the VC. The court was told that the VC had left the laptop in his vehicle while entering a restaurant in East End but on returning noticed it was missing. It was reported that camera footage revealed the defendant leaving the premises with what appeared to be the item in question. The incident reportedly occurred sometime in July.
Before she was allowed to walk free, Magistrate Richards told Frank that she was very fortunate to be given a second chance and encouraged her to “do better”.
