In America, it is said that the White person is not equal to the Black person. This belief is false and not true, according to the Good Book. The Bible says in Genesis 1:27, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them”. The Scriptures emphatically said that man regardless of the colour of his skin is created in the image and true likeness of the Almighty God. The Bible went on to say, “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul- Genesis 2:7.

America is a sad nation; she has lied to her people. She has brainwashed the White person to make him feel superior and the Black person to make him feel inferior. This is an abomination to the Lord. Institutionalised segregation with its Jim Crow laws was established and organised by White America. It was purposely done to make the Whites feel superior and the Blacks feel inferior. During segregation, Blacks had to ride on the back of the bus, they could not use the same public facilities as Whites. Blacks had their own facilities like Black water fountains and Black rest rooms. Black people were lynched by white people for no reasons. Such degrading and humiliation of Blacks in America were done by a ruthless, cruel and merciless White America.

Again I say White people and Black people are equal.

I feel sorry for both the Black and White Americans. They cannot help themselves; they were indoctrinated with lies and untruths. This is the reason for all the racial tension in the United States. Racism is built into the American System. Blacks are discriminated against because of the colour of their skin. This is wrong. Dr Martin Luther King Jr said that a person should not be judged by the colour of his/her skin but by the content of his/her character.

In the Caribbean, we do not judge people by the colour of their skin.

In conclusion, I thank God that I was not born in America where people’ minds are indoctrinated and brainwashed without knowing the truth of God’s word. It is despicable to control the mind of another human being. When one is lied to, this controls the person’s mind. As a result of brainwashing that person can never come to the knowledge of the truth. This is destructive. To be told all your life that you are superior or inferior only served to destroy someone. It is a big fat like! We are all created in the image of the one true and living God. In America, the truth has been replaced with indoctrination, lies and brainwashing.

According to Dr Martin Luther King Jr: “Truth crushed to the earth will rise again”.
