ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With many schools lacking basic supplies, in addition to being in uncomfortable spaces, including tents, the help of community-minded citizens in anyway possible can go a long way.

Members of The Adventist Development and Relief Agency International (ADRA or ADRA International), a humanitarian agency operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for the purpose of providing individual and community development and disaster relief teamed up with P3 Paper Plastic Products to do a good deed to schools affected by the hurricanes of September 2017.

The two entities partnered to supply and provide "necessary machinery and chemical agents to protect the well-being of the children and teachers of the British Virgin Islands,” a press release from P3 Paper Plastic Products stated.

ADRA was represented by Mr Khoy Smith and Viridiana Corral while P3, Paper Plastic Products was represented by Mr Sinclair H. Flemming Jr and Sherene Mcfarlane.

“ADRA has run a country wide campaign to have clean and sanitary washrooms for the growing school children in the country, whether they were in tents or temporary structures,” the press release stated, adding that both companies have “pledged time and products to this effort and hope it is continued and maintained after it is handed over.”

Efforts to get further information on the initiative were unsuccessful as Mr Flemming Jr did not respond to our queries up to time of publication.

Sinclair you would make a great candidate for the fifth electoral district in the upcoming election. Think about it. Caring people like yourself is what we need in these trying times.
