6 arrested & charged for Unlawful Possession of Controlled Drug

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- At least 6 persons have been arrested and charged by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) during October 4, 2020 and October 10, 2020 for Possession of a Controlled drug, according to the latest Arrest Blotter released today, October 15, 2020.

On October 4, 2020, at 5:50pm, Police arrested and charged Shermari Callwood, 25, of Cane Garden Bay; Paige Weeks, 26, of Fish Bay; and Reno Alphonso, 26, of Long Trench for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.

Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety and the accused will have to to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on November 11, 2020.

Also on October 4, 2020, Police arrested and charged Kerril Gilbert, 36, of Parham Town for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug and Breach of Curfew. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on November 11, 2020.

On October 5, 2020, Police arrested and charged Sheldon Stevens, 31, of Chapel Hill for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug and Breach of Curfew. Bail was granted the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety.

Mr Stevens is to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on November 11, 2020.

On October 9, 2020, Police arrested and charged Kamali Smith, 21, of Slaney Hill for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Drug. Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety.

Mr Smith is to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on December 12, 2020.

False Information to a Person Employed in a Public Office

On October 7, 2020, Police arrested and charged Augustine Fontaine, 58, of Josiah’s Bay for False Information to a Person Employed in a Public Office. Bail was granted in the sum of $10,000 with one surety.

Mr Fontaine is to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on November 30, 2020.

Driving an Unlicensed and Uninsured vehicle

On October 4, 2020, Police arrested and charged Cristiano Vinzen, 42, of Duffs Bottom for Driving an Unlicensed and Uninsured Vehicle and Breach of Curfew.

Bail was granted in the sum of $5,000 with one signed surety.

Mr Vinzen is to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on November 11, 2020.

    We need some thing in place .To start charge people when they get drunk form .Alcohol.in public just like controlled .drug,
