GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI- Where are the guns for a large cache of ammunition found at a home on Jost van Dyke is a question on the minds of investigators on the sister island.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, ranks of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) executed a search on a home on Jost van Dyke (JvD) on June 4, 2020, when a quantity of ammunition and cash were found.

Four persons were taken into custody for the ammo find and another for the quantity of cash found, but according to Police Information Officer, Akia L. Thomas, the suspects were subsequently released.

“I can confirm the arrest of 4 males for Suspicion of Unlawful Possession of Explosives and 1 male for Suspicion of Possession of Criminal Proceeds, on Jost van Dyke, June 4th, 2020. They were all further discharged pending further investigations,” Ms Thomas told our newsroom today, June 8, 2020.

It was on May 27, 2020, that three persons on Tortola were remanded to prison after high powered weapons and drugs were found in their apartment at Hannah’s Estate.

    Ummmmmm, what's really going on here? Big ammo, big money and no arrests? Who just got paid off? There had better be a good explanation for this, guns found or not!
