4 arrested for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Some four arrests were made for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm during the period May 10 to 23, 2020, according to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in its Arrest Blotter released on May 28, 2020.

On May 17, 2020, at 1:00pm, police arrested and charged Japhet Destouche, 49, of Cane Garden Bay for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm and Resisting Arrest.

Destouche was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on July 1, 2020, at 9:00am.

On May 17, 2020, at 5:50pm, police arrested and charged Bryan Fahie, 54 of Fort Hill for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on July 21, 2020.

On May 22, 2020, at 5:31pm, police arrested and charged Shivaun Modeste, 27 of Chapel Hill for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on July 16, 2020.

On May 23, 2020, 9: 50am, police arrested and charged Maxwell Clarke, 30 of Diamond Estate for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on 07-07-20 at 0900hrs.

Armed with an Offensive Weapon

On May 10, 2020, at 6:24pm, police arrested and charged Tyrone Turnbull, 36 of Greenland for being Armed with an Offensive Weapon, Carrying an Offensive Weapon, Disorderly Conduct in a Police Station, Drunkenness in a Public Place and Indecent Language. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 in his own recognizance to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on June 25, 2020.

On May 20, 2020, at 7:50am, police arrested and charged Rudolph Francis, 77 of Anegada for being Armed with an Offensive Weapon, Common Assault and Indecent Language. He was granted bail in the amount of $5,000 with one signed surety to appear before the Magistrate’s Court on July 29, 2020.

Assault of Police

On May 18, 2020, at 8:15am, police arrested and charged Raynard Matthew, 29 of North Sound, Virgin Gorda for 2 counts of Assault on Police, Grievous Bodily Harm and Escaping Lawful Custody. He appeared before the Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison to return at a later date.

      He's been crazy. When you get to a certain age you need to sit down. They should keep him off the streets cause he can't drive either.
