30 years until possibility of parole for Kenyatta ‘Yhats’ Boynes

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Kenyatta ‘Yhats’ Boynes, 32, who in October of last year was found guilty of the shooting to death of Paul Prentice and attempted murder of another man, committed on December 14, 2014 in Road Town, has been sentenced to life imprisonment with eligibility of parole after 30 years.

The sentence was handed down in the High Court today, February 6, 2017.

Boynes also received a 10 year sentence for the attempted murder charge. The sentences are to run concurrently.

Mr Boynes at the time of his being charged for the offenses of murder and attempted murder was an inmate at Her Majesty’s Prison after he had pleaded guilty on January 26, 2015, before Senior Magistrate Tamia N. Richards at the Magistrate's Court at John's Hole, to charges of unlawful possession of ‎16.5 grams of cannabis, an AK 47 assault rifle and possession of 17 rounds of ammunition.

        Let me ask u a question @peace. So only uneducated people does kill people? You statement is a stupid one to make. Because as far as I can see right now our government has a set of so called educated people in it and they are killing us daily but they ain't locked up. Everyday they let you know that they then selves are breaking the law but what happens? NOTHING!!!
