2nd Annual Anegada Lobster festival in video!
Droves of people from the greater Virgin Islands descended on the most northern island in the archipelago of Anegada for the tasty succulent spiny lobster.
The event, which was an eclectic mix of moving from restaurants to restaurants to both taste and purchase the sweet dishes of the Anegada lobster, was one of the best experiences for both locals and visitors alike.
What was interesting, as many have confessed, it was their very first trip to Anegada. Some were so dedicated that they took their vehicles via barge to Anegada.
The two day event which was at an all time high on the final day Saturday saw many persons entertained as they partied on the beach where Anegada restaurants and beach bars served many different plates and colourful display of lobsters, seafood and Caribbean inspired dishes. The party continued into the night with music and entertainment, as the only thing missing was the moonlight.
Whether they came to the most Northern Island in the Virgin Islands’ archipelago for the 2014 Lobster Festival by ferries, power boat, airlines or charter yachts, the experience of the flamingos that grace the shores, the enormous conch shell mound, the friendly rock iguanas, the Anegada stunning aqua blue beaches and more were the same for all.
