VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The BVI Football Association (BVIFA) has announced that the highly anticipated semi-finals of the 2013 Virgin Gorda Cup will be contested on Wednesday November 6, 2013.

Inclement weather forced a postponement of final four action on Sunday last.

The opening semi-final at the Virgin Gorda Recreation Ground will get underway at 7 P.M. and will be a clash between home sides Sugar Boys and VG United.

Sugar Boys will be coming off a 6-0 routing of Haitian Stars while VG United edged Wolues 1-nil to secure a semi-final berth and their first win in two years.

The other semi-final will be an all Tortola affair when One Love come up against Ballstarz.

One Love reached the semi-finals by default after their opponents failed to show while Ballstarz thrashed Police Panthers 6-0, including a double from Player of the Month of October Reuben Stoby.

The Ballstarz also boast the Manager of the Month, Vincent ‘Nabu’ Samuel and will be deemed slight favourites to reach the final.

Teams are reminded that the ferry leaves Road Town at 6.30 P.M. and departs Virgin Gorda at around 10 P.M.
