The increase of 2 cases are arrivals not local transmission.

4 cases are local transmission since the funeral.

On the other hand, are those vaccines causing the virus to spread more rapidly!? Practically the cases increasing higher n higher and the borders not fully opened..Just don't get it..0 cases then you look vaccines come out and climb right up the ladder to 20 all of a sudden..How!?

They are new arrivals bringing the virus in. Based on positive test four/five days after arrival, probably being infected in transit. And probably not vaccinated or not FULLY vaccinated (measured as two weeks after receiving the 2nd Pfizer or Moderna shot).

Based on this number approximately 20-25% of BVI residents are vaccinated. Maybe it's time for immigration to step in and deport all those not vaccinated by 31 May 2021. The remaining folks should be locked down in their homes until they are vaccinated.
