2 charged, 2 arrested following search warrants

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In a joint operation by officers of the Special Investigations Team and the Intelligence Department, search warrants were carried on two premises in Nottingham Estate which resulted in two persons being charged and another two arrested.

Leslie Smith, 44, and Janeen Martin, 31, a Jamaican national, were both charged with cultivating a controlled drug after officers found 92 marijuana plants ranging in height from three to four feet in two hydroponic chambers on the premises.

Officers conducted a second search of a home in the area where two other persons, a male and a female were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking.

Police are continuing their investigations in the matter.

        It's his brother....so what if it's his brother. His brother is not his dependent child...He lives his own life and so faces his own consequences. Even the bible says that the father and mother will not be put to death for the sins of the children, but they will be put to death for their own sins...
