On December 15, 2016 following the homicide of the young victim, Mr Mapp authorised a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the killing.
In response, an anonymous donor has contributed an additional $5,000 to the reward bringing the total to $15,000, Government House said.
“Our community is angered by this loss and grieving with the family,” the governor said. The governor thanked the anonymous donor on behalf of the territory for their generosity and willingness to help, Government House said.
