CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI— As the St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI) community continues to mourn this week’s murder of a 17-month-old child who was shot during what Government House described as a drive-by shooting, in a drive-by, Governor Kenneth E. Mapp today, December 16, 2016 announced an increase in the reward by an anonymous donor.

On December 15, 2016 following the homicide of the young victim, Mr Mapp authorised a reward of $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the killing.

In response, an anonymous donor has contributed an additional $5,000 to the reward bringing the total to $15,000, Government House said.

“Our community is angered by this loss and grieving with the family,” the governor said. The governor thanked the anonymous donor on behalf of the territory for their generosity and willingness to help, Government House said.

The law enforcement community is engaged in solving this crime, according to the release. Mr Mapp reminded that anyone with information on Wednesday night’s shooting should contact the VIPD Homicide Task Force at (340) 774-2211, Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477 or to call 911.

The community does not seem to be outrage of this kind of bull that took place with this poor sweet child. $300,000.00 or more should be on this jackass head. Governor should call on all to hunt down this bastard. Even get Federal help in hunting this bastard. When captured he should be beaten everyday for years and put her pictures all over his cell if he survive. Governor call on the community to hunt this dog down.
